Continental Lodge - Oakland

It was just a fine choice for a weekend escape in Oakland with value for price. The room wassuper clean and cozy, a nice surprise. Just be cautious when going outside at night.

Too bad that we didn't have time, but we would stay there again. Reasonably clean place, staff was professional and very friendly. Everything was perfectly fine and within 13 minutes' drive of Oakland International airport.

It was a great hotel in an industrial area, so close to public transport, and a good Mexican restaurant a block away. The room was beautifully decorated and well-equipped, with a king bed.

The atmosphere is questionable due to unsavory characters hanging around. The check-in process left something to be desired with rude front desk staff!!! More attention to customer service could go a long way.

Check-in was frustrating. The front desk staff had issues processing my card despite showing I used a debit/credit card. The atmosphere felt unsafe, with many unsavory people lingering outside. I saw a well-kept room upon inspection, which could have been nice, but the overall environment was too sketchy for comfort. I left for a safer motel that I've trusted for years instead.

If you're craving a midnight snack, there's a Burger King just a hop away-perfect for those late-night munchies! And, let me tell you, I appreciated getting that smoke-free room just as I ordered. Talk about a small win!

Although the atmosphere felt a bit uneasy at night, the amenities offered, including refreshing hot water was nice. I appreciated the efficient air conditioning after long days out.

The Beautiful King Room was a good surprise with its clean, recently renovated space. It had hot water that felt so refreshing and an AC that worked wonders after a long day out! Plus, I loved the free parking, such a bonus in the area!

Dining options were limited, with only a Burger King a block away, leaving me wishing for more choices within walking distance. I felt a bit uneasy about my safety, especially after dark.

The continental lodge was super clean, and the pillows were comfortable. It's also close to the airport, which can be pricey for transfers. The staff was friendly.

Just be aware of the neighborhood. It wasn't the best vibe outside.

Great quick visit! The staff was really thoughtful and the location was handy, especially since it's close to the A's stadium ⚾️. We had a really nice stay here.
